Top banks for automotive?
What BBs have good automotive groups? Looked on league tables based on automotive deals but would love to hear from someone who really knows.

That wouldn't make sense as the professionals hired in those deal were hired for their restructuring expertise, not industry expertise.
I know Citi had a leading practice but the head left for Sagent Advisors in the Spring. Figure that Citi, JPM, and BofA should all be good as autos require advisors with big balance sheets for lending. I.e. Citi had a leading practice probably more b/c of their capital markets ability and balance sheet as opposed to bankers "prowess".
Thanks jws, anyone else? Does it make sense to think that firms with strong industrials groups do/will have a good automotive group?
not necessarily, industrials is a huge space... they could be really good at metals/mining or chemicals or cap goods or some specific industry within cap goods
