Upcoming FIG Summer Analyst Interview Advice
Hi everyone, I’m seeking advice on what to study for an upcoming technical FIG M&A interview. Will the general 400-question book suffice, or should I dive deeper into specific FIG technicals?

fig specific groups will ask you a mix of regular techs and fig specific, the 400q doesnt really go into those. biws and red book have good starter fig sections. most important things to know are how the income statements for banks/insurance companies work and how they make money, why they need to be valued off equity value instead of enterprise(ddm instead of dcf and how it works), and some of the important ratios. even if the team doesnt focus on those groups theyll probs ask those techs, AM/WM and fintech are pretty standardly valued so theyll ask about banks just to gauge your interest in fig.
is this for sa26 or early 27? feels crazy if they're already interviewing for 27
sa '27, very possible I am being accelerated, but can't confirm.
