USC Econ vs UMich Econ

Hi there, I think there's already a forum on this but I have some specific queries...

Background: Recently I was fortunately admitted to both of these schools and am having trouble on which one to attend. I hopefully want to end up in IB in the east coast just because there's more opportunity there. For both of these schools I was admitted for Econ in Dornsife and LSA - meaning I have the opportunity to transfer to both of their business schools during my freshman and sophmore year. Cost is not a factor to consider as I am paying international fees for both schools. I have visited USC but not UMich.

Ok, now for the questions... :

1. If I want to work in the east coast, i'm assuming Michigan is much better. However, if I don't end up getting into Ross, how badly are my prospects affected ? And also how hard is it co cross campus transfer ? - on their website it says a 26% acceptance rate however Iv'e seen many comments stating its near impossible

2.  Everyone says UMich is the quintessential college experience, however after looking through the internet, Ann Arbor doesn't seem too appealing and nor does the campus. Also the student body doesn't seem to be very diverse which is kind of off putting - I am an international student from Asia. As an outgoing, social guy, am I worrying too much about the geography and demography of UMich or will I have loads of fun ?

3. I have visited USC before and I really liked the campus. LA is a great city with great weather with lots to do. Also the student body is super international which I really like. However, from what I have read, UMich is more prestigious and reputable than USC and Ross is defo better than Marshall for IB. If I did go to USC and hopefully Marshall, would there be any chance of breaking into east coast IB ?

4. Worst comes to worst I don't get into either business school. Which is better for entering IB, USC econ or UMich econ ?

Sorry for this really long post... any advice would be greatly appreciated.
