Wall Street Mastermind - Thoughts?

Current rising sophomore at a non-target (or maybe a semi-target, depending on your definition), looking to break into IB. I spent my entire freshman year networking w/ alumni in the industry (our school is reasonably well represented at quite a few banks) and have been studying technicals through WSP/BIWS this summer. Everywhere I look, I seem to encounter ads for this program called Wall Street Mastermind, run by a former DB and MS analyst. They claim to have an absurdly good success rate and a track record of working with non-target candidates. That said, the price is also astronomically high (I've heard it can be as much as $6k). I know there are some threads about it on here already, but most are a couple years old. Was wondering if anyone had any experience w/ the program and whether you thought it was worth the money? Equally importantly, do you feel that the same thing could be achieved by studying technicals through the guides, networking, and practicing behaviorals w/ upperclassmen and alumni? Would be grateful for any advice.

It’s a scam through and through and Sam preys on non-target’s fear of not breaking in and uses it gouge them for money. Everything can be found online for free or done through networking/upperclassmen. You are essentially just paying 6-8k for a slack channel, an interview guide, and access to him for mocks/resume critiques, which is not even worth 1k. Please stay away.

Do not buy this. The "course" is literally copied and pasted from WSP/BIWS/WSO courses and the only way Sam Shiah gets clients is by using fear tactics to trick naive young people into enrolling.
