worked on X deals

I know most interns and analysts dont get a lot of exposure to the entire deal process, so are you allowed to write worked on 2 deals even though all you did for both was spending a day or two doing basic research? or would "assisted on 2 deals" be more accepted? Thanks!

I would definitely write it. Most people probably didn't jack either at their internships, but it's all about spinning what you did over summer in your favor.

I would write in detail what the deal size was and what research you did.

People reading it will be thoroughly impressed.

If you put it on your resume, you will be asked about them. It will quickly become evident that you were not involved on the deals if you only worked on them for a day. So if you are confident enough, you can put it on your resume, but I'm guessing that you're better off emphasizing the things you were involved in rather than those where you played a marginal role.

the other stuff I was involved in were mostly pitches/comps (one bullet) and a massive data entry thing that took 90% of the time but took zero thinking (one bullet). I wasn't involved in-depth in any deal but I was tangentially involved in a few - any advice for that?
