Livestream Q&A With Three Finance Rockstars (Blackstone, TA Associates, Carlyle)
Hi All,
I'm an MBA student at Stanford organizing AMAs on Zoom with three classmates of mine who are former bankers and PE rockstars. We'll set up a video conference for you to ask them any questions you have, whether they are about breaking into banking, working at top PE funds, getting into a top MBA program, or anything else.
If you are interested in joining the AMAs, please email me at [email protected] and tell me which panelist your most interested in connecting with. Please also throw some bananas at this post or comment on it so people see it. We will only move forward with the Q&A once we reach critical mass.
Here are the panelists' backgrounds:
Harry Mahadevan is a first-generation college graduate who is passionate about fintech and worked on several growth equity deals during his time at TA Associates, one of the top growth equity firms. Prior to TA, Harry worked in FIG at Credit Suisse. Harry plans to return to TA Associates as a Vice President this summer.
Stephen Rickli studied Economics at Brown University and worked in Energy Investment Banking at Barclays. He then joined the Blackstone Group, where he worked for three years. Stephen is passionate about retail and e-commerce and plans to join a startup in that space after graduation.
Carlos Schechtmann spent three years at Morgan Stanley and another two at the Carlyle Group, where he worked on the Consumer Buyout team. Since coming to Stanford, Carlos has worked for Scooter Braun (Justin Bieber's manager) and for Drake. He plans to return to private equity after graduation.
Best, David
