Thought it would be prudent to start a post to share developments of BBs/EBs/MMs recruitment process updates for the '24 cycle.
Any updates on the below?
BBs: GS, MS, JPM, BoA, UBS, Deutsche
EBs: PJT, Evercore, Lazard (?), Rothschild, Centerview, Moelis
MMs: Jefferies, Houlihan, Greenhill, Guggenheim
You’ve left out a bunch of MMs
WB, Arma, Baird, HW, Lincoln, Alantra, DC, Gleacher etc. haven't opened yet... but let us know how that progresses once open.

IBD at Houlihan is middle market, RX might be considered a notch above. But this is not the point of this discussion haha, name them what you will, just wanted to see whether anyone has gotten any updates re processes in London. Feels like its opened earlier than last year but is moving much slower... thoughts?

Just completed mine and got the following:
Numerical reasoning - well above the requirements
Inductive reasoning - well above the requirements
Situational assessment - very aligned with business unit
Did I miss an assessment?
Also what is the best result one can get on these assessments?
People with very well aligned SJT and similar Numerical Verbal and Logical have been rejected already

It is not random. When you meet the benchmark for the tests, they look at your CV and if you have what they are looking for then you get TI.

Jefferies, Greenhill and Centerview have opened applications?
Also is anyone else who applied for BofA ER still waiting for a HV?
GH is today, Centerview no idea, they do a Oxbridge networking event and invite to AC from that I believe, but also not sure exactly, no one is really willing to speak about it. Jefferies no idea when they open
For CVP a recruiter messages you a link to apply to the networking event. There is one in London and one in Oxford

Lazard is only recruiting for ER and Sales & Marketing, IBD SA got filled from spring weeks.

I really don't think so... buddy who just completed his SA stint said the didnt have one, only Online Test and then Telephone Interview, followed by second round interview, and then AC with a case study
Heard on the group chat that some people already received HVs for IBD tho. Might vary from last year.

Didn't hear anything for IBD. HVs have defo been given out for S&T though
Can confirm, there are HVs this year for 2024 SAs.. just had an event and spoke to HR. For Continental Europe Office also have in-person interviews after the AC in London (which will be the hub for all candidates progressed to ACs in Europe)

Only got 9. Im usually good at puzzles/pattern tests too but I always dread seeing that block moving challenge come up in OTs

Learning Ability and Collaboration were my positives and Time Optimiser was area for improvement.

My assessment report was very strange.. dont know what to make of it either. Time Optimiser and Pride top attributes, and personal responsibility lowest lol.. should be perfectly aligned with business unit no?

Damm, that's tough. Source / when did they come out? Assuming my chances are slim anyway, as it looks like they target LBS / business school students.
"Intern in PE" is a troll. Very few interviews are out. Most processes have not started interviewing.

At a non-target but did a summer IB at a BB this year, is the market really this fucked or am I getting dinged for my uni (no TI or ACs yet)?
Same thoughts running through my head too. Target in same shoes as well. Job market really taking a toll for us lot.
Pretty disappointing seeing the updated stages coming through but not receiving anything. Went for SA instead of FT bc I thought there would be more spots available but doesn’t seem great
I'm at a target and having the similar problems but did get through some stages , I've read that London recruiting as a bit random so perhaps there's something to come

I got sent a maths test to do the next day after VI and they said they’d get back around October 4th about AC
I got approached by Dartmouth recruiters but haven't heard from any firms for TIs from any of Dartmouth-affiliated banks (PWP, CV et al.)
What did they say?

Last year one of ACs was sent out after HV in late December, with the AC scheduled for first week of Jan
I still haven’t been sent a VI since 2 weeks ago for a grad role should I message them?
Given you haven't been rejected yet, I would defo follow up. 2 weeks is a while, everyone I personally know who completed the HV received it within 48hrs (just fyi)
