Lost my job in Wealth Management Recently

Hey all! Need some advice. I lost my job recently in WM at an EB firm because I didn’t pass my Series 7 (all attempts) by a small margin. I was there for just under a year. It was my first job out of college. Hiring slowdown at the firm so couldn’t switch roles. How best should/could I proceed with a job search? What should I say to recruiters? Not locked into WM by any means.

Many thanks in advance for the insight! Y’all rock!
