Raise GPA or take finance electives?

I am a senior at a target school in NYC and completed pretty much all of my requirements. I have not taken too many useful finance classes, but my GPA is low (3.1). Do I try to raise my GPA and take random electives or do I take finance specific classes that will help me? Taking difficult finance classes would complete my concentration in finance but sacrifice my chances of increasing GPA
