In a perfect world, how would your career play out?

If we lived in a reasonably perfect world, how would your career go? (By reasonably perfect I mean nothing like CEO of Goldman Sachs, world's first trillionaire, or PE partner out of undergrad)

Thx for the SB, but this confused me

haha I thought it was a funny highlight to things that look like a career and corporate life - but aren't you willing to step outside a normal career or do you just want the ultimate desk/corporate job?

I think the real question here is how would you like to spend your time. Following your passion should define life for you.

Mid Level Software Engineer -> Staff Engineer/ Senior Data Scientist -> Product Manager at FAANG -> My own thing

Also real estate investments on the side because I still love RE. Aside from the last bit, I have reasonable shots at everything. The last bit is a function of my capabilities

i agree. i wish i had done something quantitative during college and went all in on math/comp sci. took a few math/cs courses during college and killed them but never pursued that path. it's funny, now that i'm ~6 years into my career, i find math / comp sci much more interesting than RE

I’m making the switch to tech. If you really want to more than happy to help give you resources to study up on etc.
