This is the amazing thing about SJW feminists. If you try to date them they’ll whine and complain about the patriarchy where “equality” means getting a more than equal share for the good, but not requesting the equal share for the bad. If you don’t date them because they have undesirable characteristics, they’ll still blame you and call you an incel, ignoring the fact that the reason you aren’t dating them has to do with themselves. It’s always the straight white man’s fault but never their own.

Lol dude, why are you so worked up. If you genuinely "hate" women, you are definitely the under-sexed type. There are annoying people out in the world, but no one that I truly hate. Hatred def comes from not having enough sex. Just look at all of the mass shooters

I have a hard time believing you don’t strongly dislike or have disgust for certain people. If what you’re saying is really true, you’ve grown up in an incredibly sheltered bubble devoid from real world experiences. Also correlation doesn’t imply causation. You’re saying that because guys are incels they hate women. I’m saying they choose to be virgins because they decide the women available are not worth it.

I will repeat myself again - incel implies that the guy wants sex but can’t get it. Whereas others self select out of the market.

Your entire argument is premised around the idea that a guy will 100% have sex with a girl if she asks him for it. Maybe you’re like that, but not all guys are that. Consent matters for guys just as much as it matters for girls.

To answer your question directly, I am a virgin but this is by choice for several reasons. I am pro-life and hence I realize that even with modern protection methods there’s a chance the girl becomes pregnant and hence by extension becomes mother of my child, which requires high standards for a potential dating/marriage partner. I also realize (and there is research to back this up) that there is a correlation between those who have pre-marital sex and the divorce rate. While I know that correlation doesn’t imply causation there are very logical reasons why I think the correlation exists, and the last thing I’d want to do is emotionally numb myself making it easy to cheat if I do get married down the road.

Based on my comment above I said that there’s potential for the girl to become the mother of my kids? You’re telling me you easily find women who fit that criteria.

I will also add that coming out of a non-target a lot of time in college was spent on career oriented goals so for better or worse I’ve only really thought about dating post college.

I already addressed that. You’re not going to become a dad unless you’re reckless. People who accidentally have kids are having unprotected sex and not pulling out. It’s like saying you will only eat blended food because you’re worried you’re going to choke to death.

Plenty of career focused people fuck. Elon has been having pre-marital threesomes while also being ceo of multiple companies. But you couldn’t fuck because you were the Assistant Treasurer at your finance club?

Being a virgin is fine. Waiting til marriage is fine. But these mental gymnastics are cringe. They’re preventing you from stepping up your game in any way

Hmmm, if she can do her own blowout that would be ideal. OP, the goal is for your hair to NOT distract from the interview; style accordingly. If you have crazy curly hair, there is still bias against that as unkempt or unprofessional (screams in curly, frizzy hair), but anything too overdone will make you look like a fox news "analyst" and that isn't the look you're going for either. Check out a website called corporette for some more guidance, but overall advice is to BLEND: simple, clean, and neat appearance let's your personality do the talking.

Whatever you feel most professional with. I would lean towards straight hair as it looks polished, but curly is 100% acceptable as well.

Ignore everyone saying not to get a blowout/wear your hair natural/send pics... smh girls get a blowout to go to happy hour, of course it's normal to get one for an important job interview

Hi I'm a female in early 20s and I have a job interview for client facing role. Should I wear straight hair or curly hair during this job interview?

Never happened!

In all honesty straight hair comes off as more polished and less distracting. This isn’t to say curly hair is bad (especially if it’s natural) but you generally don’t see it much in a professional environment. Like anything in life though you have to evaluate the trade offs of a decision. If you have naturally curly hair, is the time to straighten it every day worth the job you’re trying to get? Another thing to thing about is how strong your profile is. If this is a interview for a job that you know required a lot of luck, then even things like hair can be the difference. If you feel fairly confident in your qualifications, then having curly hair is not going to move the needle.

In your response thought you do admit that it does have an impact. I agree that hair isn't the # 1 thing an interviewer is looking for, but due to the competitiveness of front office roles, anything that can be seen as a positive helps.

I do not think it would have any impact unless the hair was strange looking and then it would be a negative. I mean don’t shave it off, don’t have big hair like the 80s and don’t color it pink or purple and you should be fine

Can we please stop with these “just do whatever you want” and “be natural” comments. This is an interview, and people have subconscious and conscious biases about what is professional or not when it comes to appearances.

surprised nobody made a joke yet about what hair OP is talking about

Funny you mention that - I did some background acting in Brooklyn for MTV for this show “I just want my pants back.”

I was the “hippie at the bar” and the girl next to me was talking to Peter Vack and she had dreds and his line was “I like your dreds - do you have dreds down there too?” haha memories…

My ex-girlfriend had really coily hair (something like 3c-4a) and she would put it in a pineapple or just ponytail it. You just can't have it flopping all over your forehead/face. For reference, I'm a guy with 3c hair and I just tie it up and keep the sides trimmed. If your hair is wavy, then it really isn't a big deal you should be able to just wear it down; I think people here are confusing wavy and curly lol, letting your natural curly hair flow will often look very nonchalant and I don't believe it's work appropriate.

Agree 100%. Someone having true curly hair is somewhat rare actually, so a lot of people are confusing it with wavy hair or girls who they think have curly hair but are really just using curlers for the end.

If you’re hair is naturally curly and a bit unruly (like mine) I’d recommend putting it up neatly in a hair clip or a low bun. Ultimately, go with whichever makes you feel most confident during the interview.
