If you guys have done the HireVue, please feel free to share the questions with the rest of us! :)
I applied two and a half days ago and still haven't gotten an email for the HireVue... Is this normal?
I just got an email to complete a HireVue today. They said another email will be coming in within 72 hours; I assume that'll be for which division I was accepted into (I put IB 1st, S&T 2nd).
Just got the HireVue interview email today. By "another email" do you mean a followup email after you submitted your HireVue interview online?
I'm just confused because I don't know how the divisions work. Am I in for a IB specifically? Or is it just general?
I thought there might be a follow-up email with divisions but I guess that's just the notification email.

Real people read these applications, so maybe they got really busy and didn't get a chance to ding yours. I know a friend who talked a GS recruiter asking why she didn't receive an invitation for the HireVue, and that's what the recruiter said (not sure if the recruiter was honest, though.)

Doesn't everyone get the hirevue application? Like its automated after a couple days you submit your app
I think as long as you meet the minimum criteria like gpa and school you should get it. I received mine two days after I believe.

I assume its going to be sometime next week, given that the event is ~1 month away
SO just to confirm, only 3 behavioral questions 1) interest align w/ MS 2) work experience 3) working in a team
Do they ask u on the divisions u chose ? Should we prepare for each choice we picked ?
I'm pretty sure the HireVues already closed, but yes. Just those three questions. They don't ask you about what divisions you chose, or why.

when did you complete your Hirevue?
I submitted it at around 11:30PM the night it was due, so they're not looking at that from what I can tell.

Got it. They don't open apps until July, and start first rounds/superdays in August. I doubt there will be interviews. I went to something similar for a HF and it was networking and workshops all day. Also for that firm everyone who attended got a first round
MS hasn’t been doing accelerated superdays? I know JPM, DB, GS, and boutiques have.
Confirmed with HR; There is no accelerated recruiting - regular apps open June 1st.

So if it says our submissions are still under review does that mean we're not being considered?
Either waitlisted or rejected. I wonder if anyone has gotten rejections yet.
My buddy that got in last year said if you didn’t get in for one of your choices they invited them to another sector. E.g applied for IB got in for PWM or something similar

Definitely would be good to drop a line and inform them of your attendance at the Inside Access Day, and maybe even ask if they have the time to meet in-person and chat. Doing so exhibits your strong interest and also proves your legitimacy (e.g. being inv'd to the Day demonstrates that MS has significant interest in you). As a non-target going to the Day, that was my mentality at least

I haven't heard back yet as well. Looking at the previous year they typically send the decisions around October 10th.
Did previous years have this event on the same day? Also, if you don't mind me asking, did you get an interview for this event?
I have not heard back yet either. Last year the event was hosted on October 24th (a later date).
I talked to an HR yesterday and she said they haven't gotten their selections yet

You're welcome. At my school, one senior guy is making all the decisions and he hasn't started to look at our resumes...
I have not heard anything yet, I assume they will be within the next few days, the one of the head recruiters did not know either when I asked last week.

i got my invitation a little earlier today. i go to a target school, so I'm not sure how accurate it is that it's for non-targets

MS recruits at my school as well, so I don't think the event is exclusively for non-targets.

Anyone who RSVPed did you make travel arrangements yet? And is it flying in and out on Friday or do we have to stay overnight?
I haven't heard anything regarding travel. I hope they'll cover hotel for the night before because there's no way for me to get there by 8:30am if I leave Friday morning...

I received an email regarding travel arrangements earlier this morning. They provide hotel accomodations for people who live too far to arrive on the same day.
Interesting. I'm pretty close - 1 hour flight, so they said hotel is not an option.
