Anyone know the timeline?
Any views on the corporate credit management team? Comp, bonus, exit opps etc.
BNP Paribas’ Corporate Credit Management team handles underwriting and risk monitoring, but it’s not as aggressive as LevFin. Compensation is below Street—competitive base but weaker bonuses—though work-life balance is better.
Exits are solid for private credit and corporate treasury but not top-tier for buyside roles. It’s a stable platform with a conservative culture, good for long-term credit careers but not ideal for maximizing comp or elite exits.
Appreciate your insight. Would you say an internal pivot to Levfin yields better exit opps in private credit, or would the difference be marginal? Would ultimately like to work on the underwriting team for a MM direct lender.
