MagicKarpblackrock, blackstone, blackhawk, blackcock

if i had to guess, in order, gpa req would be 3.6, 3.9, 2.8, 2.0

Not true..i got in blackcock with a 1.4

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

christopher.nycboilol on a more serious note, i have a 3.33 but i've gotten 1st rounds with both

Not that this question deserves a serious answer, but I'm guessing you got 1st rounds for back office positions at both? Odds are, this was for Global Client Group or Portfolio Analytics Group?

Considering PMG at blackrock takes maybe 15 people straight out of undergrad and they are the biggest name in asset management, I'd like to think they wouldn't bother wasting their time with someone with a 3.33.

Blackrock PMG only takes 15 out of undergrad? How do you know this? I had no idea it was that selective.

Yeah, no way you're getting front-office blackstone with a 3.33. For M&A and restructuring, you need at least a 3.6 and for PE you gotta have at least a 3.8.

Are you saying global client group and portfolio analytics group are back office? interesting.. didn't think direct client facing revenue generating groups were back office now a days..

Don't know where you got that number either - 15 out of undergrad - i'm guessing straight out your ass? i love how you guys just make assumptions about things you really have no clue about.

i got blackrock gcg & bx park hill & bx re debt first round, but didn't get into final round. i know i do have a really low gpa, however, i've been working/interning since freshman year. I have 7 internships lined up on my resume..I'm guessing that's probably why I got chosen.
