Prepare for being challenged in ambiguous cases. Won’t be simple P/L cases.
Craft stories as fit interview questions are very essential to partners, and half the interview.

Just had ACI R2, probably hear back Monday, since they have interviews all day today.

Now that I have had some time to reflect on my final round interview, here are some thoughts:
I think people have to understand that final rounds are primarily focused on cultural fit and casing is very much secondary. There are so many factors that are out of your control and you just have to let go and accept them. There is no magical way to get the partner to like you. The connection is either there or it isn't.
I thought that my casing was solid and insightful but not exceptionally creative. It ended up being more of a two way conversation as opposed to a highly structured interviewer-led thing.
I'm trying to take my mind off of this. I received a decent return offer that I should be very grateful for in this economy. I have been checking WSO and Reddit obsessively for the past few days. In the real world, nobody cares if you worked at MBB, which target school you went to, or which ultra-selective consulting club you were president of. Time to log off and touch grass...

It's the little things that make a difference. Take a walk outside. Text an old friend. Read an interesting book. Hey! Thanks for sharing. Did you have to drive the case, was it more interviewer-led? What would you say was the major difference between R1 and R2 case portion?
This is not true. The case always comes first in importance and it’s not close. Does not matter how good of a culture fit you are; it will not save you if you case poorly. Culture fit matters and you can get dinged for it if there are any red flags but you need to pass the case to even be considered. Vast majority of people who aren’t receiving offers are going to be because they didn’t pass the case, full stop.

i interviewed 8/1 for sf aci and heard back 8/2 for final round invite, on a phone call w my interviewer they said they pretty much make their decisions for who moves on the day of
so it shouldn’t take more than a week

I think there are a lot more offices left. I thought only SF released decisions but I could be wrong
sf has not released decisions for aci’s as far as i know, they released a handful of ac offers last friday

Interviews are done by region, makes it easier for scheduling on their side, don’t worry won’t affect your decision or office placement

Once again I don’t think they send out offers or rejections until they wrap up interviews completely… you were probably an early interview. No reason to panic yet unless you start seeing tons of linkedin announcements for that office and position
