Now that the MBBs are open for Summer 2022 internships, I thought I'd make a thread so everyone's up to date. Does anyone know whether applying for the summer deadline rather than the fall puts applicants at some sort of advantage?

Received my rejection this week after the assessment they gave.
What assessment and for which firm(s)?
Mb for the lack of detail. McKinsey. The assessment was a little game with two parts: first part you needed to build an ecosystem, second part was basically a tower defense. Hope that helps !
anyone know if theres a summer app deadline and if so when for any of the firms?
I think McK & Bain have a July 15th deadline, but McK says they hope to see most of the full time applications by the 7/15 deadline and most of the intern applications by the September deadline. Pretty unclear if there's some kind of advantage, if any, to applying for the earlier cycle.

You'll probably be invited for interviews earlier if you apply earlier! This is important especially if applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
This is objectively wrong; all firms are very clear that these deadlines are NOT rolling.

I know this isnt MBB, but how do you apply to EYP from non-target?
I think they have a national application so you should be good in that regard since it's on their website -- i've heard that recruiting with EY Parthenon is especially difficult if you don't come from a target though, given the elite botique nature of the firm

Did anyone else feel that the BCG online case was super hard? Felt like the fit part went well (like most ppl lol), but had a lot of trouble with the math.
Yeah, same. For some reason, couldn't get the right answer for like 3 min but figured it out when I solved it another way.

I received an initiation for Bain ACI today, first round being held October 13th.
I personally got an invite to do a first round interview with the West Coast System in BCG, and I have classmates who have also received invites for the Northeast (This is under the September 8th Application deadline so quite a fast turnaround)

nope, haven't heard anything. i thought the interviews went okay. i could have done better and I did have one or two stumbles in each where the interviewer had to nudge me back on track, but I didn't screw up anything major.
I know of two people at my school who got offers for BCG DC; I go to a target. They interviewed this past Friday.

I applied at the beginning of September, was asked to take the test the next week, took the test, and it’s been radio silence since lol
I believe McKinsey has shot out their first round of interviews for this cycle, I know people who are interviewing for northeast offices and I'm interviewing for another office, but am unsure about whether they'll be shooting out more as people wash out of the process.
