Hi everyone, got a call for Barclays Toronto and was wondering how their recent activity has been. I know they lost some senior bankers and research analysts to Jefferies, but cannot find articles/posts on deals and activity.
What deals have they done recently? How is the culture/growth?

do you have a dataset or sth to search for deals?
I generally find precedents on CapIQ, but I don’t know how to find bank-specific, unless they disclose/post on their site.
Funny because in the interview the VP said tell me about a deal that wasn’t the Rogers Shaw deal haha
They had some big deals but the group is struggling.
Massive exodus recently. I’ve heard hours are incredible but that’s due to a lack of deal flow.

The group is collapsing a ton of seniors and juniors have left.
Culture wise, sweaty sweaty hours though a lot of that driven by one of the bankers who dipped. Liked the junior guys I came across though pretty hardo.

Regarding the Analyst posting at Barclays, does anyone else have this specific status on the careers site, but has yet to hear back? I figured 'Progress to Next Stage' would mean a screener with a recruiter but guess not. I applied last week.
HR has not reached out to me either. Getting anxious.
