What happens if you break your hand as an analyst? Are you just fucked or would you expect to get some leniency from your team?

Did my SA with a broken wrist. Obviously isn't ideal, but they should be understanding. Had to learn how to type with 6 fingers. Eventually got pretty good at it, and I think they respected my dog.

This happened to me when I was at Moelis for my SA stint, 2 weeks in I broke my hand & wrist. My MD came up to me at the end of the day and broke the other one and said not to come back. Needless to say; didn’t get a return offer.

This happened to someone on my team. They usually don't cast the fingers, or in very rare cases they cast the pinky and ring finger - you can still type it's just much slower. Just is what it is
