Centerview NEW YORK SA2024

I know theres a centerview thread already but its confusing because theres a mix of new york and sf in the comments, so i thought id make a NEW YORK specific one:

Did anyone receive R1's yet? Target school here but havent received anything but theres a kid (diversity) with centerview new york offer at my school and a couple kids with R1s but im not sure whether those kids are accelerated. thought i networked well with a couple analysts but i cant tell whether im being ghosted or whether the non-diversity non-accelerated r1's havent started out yet.

There’s a kid at my target school who is signed to nyc CVP to. It’s weird he said he didn’t go through a formal process

Wharton? Think i know which one you're talking about unless there's multiple

Correction: there’s multiple now. Someone else at Wharton had an offer at a different EB through a diversity program superday and used that to accelerate centerview and got an offer today as we speak.

Cuz the recruiting team at our school told us to use offer to trade

Guy at Wharton signed for NYC Centerview. He's technically Hispanic so could be diversity.

This is so wrong… A quick LinkedIn search would show you this is false

+1 from wharton now as of today afternoon. Someone else got an accelerated offer and not confirmed but likely signing. Brings up wharton count at Centerview NY to about 2.

The strategy is basically interviewing kids who already have offers. If you are diversity it’s easy to get accelerated.
If you’re not diversity, you need to have top offer(s) and someone at the firm pulling for you.
Source: I am non diverse and got offered an accelerated interview process when I recruited

I am diversity at target who didn't get into diversity program without any offers from places comparable to centerview. where would I fall under?

CVP likes to recruit later than most banks. I know two girls at a Texas Private school that have accepted NY offers. I think they were part of some women’s programs tho

i know they normally recruit later, but ive seen kids at my school accelerating and getting offers and rounds one way or another, and im feeling scared

Is it possible to recruit for two different locations, I didn't apply to both but have people at different places that are pushing me for interviews

Depends on if you go to a core school. If possible just list range of schools

Same. I applied on their site but didn’t realize they had a separate application on handshake for target schools. I’m telling myself that’s why I didn’t get an R1 because I only applied in handshake a week ago (even though the reality is more that the analysts who offered to forward my resume are dinging me/forgot about me)

if others at our school got R1 and we didn’t does that mean we’re dinged?

had first round tuesday, superday wednesday, got offer friday

not from harvard but there was a SD today and there was a lot of harvard kids there...

anyone know if this is the last superday? or are there more coming up?

No, we were def more than that. I know it's tough because we were so close, but I think offers were already sent out. Time to bounce back.
