Citi A1 base raised to 110K?
Can anyone confirm? Saw Litquidity's story just now. Which BBs have now raised base to 110K? Anyone think rest of BBs will follow?

Don't hold your breath for that one lmao
They did - gonna need the french banks next fingers crossed
Confirmed - analyst at Citi
Any word on Citi associate base raises?
confirmed
Confirmed
Is markets still at 85?
I ask cos GS/JPM/MS (two of which are at 110k) have raised base for markets FO too.
no, markets also raised to an1 110k
False, Markets at JPM is currently at 85k for A1, raises don't go into effect for Markets til after bonuses. Markets got f'ed over, coverage bumps went into effect over the summer.
Source: I work there.
Does this base raises apply to equity research?
I hope that means that some “EBs” raise their base from 110
Does this base raise apply to CB too?
Yes - raises for both IB and CB.
How much for CB
What is CB
Any leads on BAML/BarCap following?
bump
BofA still at 95 right now, 100 starting in Feb I believe
Truist raised
Raised to what?
Raised to $110k ?
Yea pls specify cuz ik they raised to $100k a while back
Source for Citi salary bump to 110K? Did manager's directly reach out?
Can confirm.
Manager called this morning
Citi associates get anything or the analysts having all the fun?
Citi (friend just received call)
Confirming analysts = 110/125/?
Associates still the same = 175/200/225
Meanwhile... JP Morgan still paying associates 150(A2A) 175 (MBA2A) / 175 / 200... BUMP IT UP JP
125 for 3rd Years. Got confirmation from three 3rd years at Citi.
Confirmed
JPM analysts getting paid 100/105k too so same 20k difference. Pay up Jamie
Come on Barclays step it up
I feel like they will soon fingers crossed
How quickly did they move last time on this?
Bump
Credit Suisse needs to change as well
Citi energy S&T apparently just got shafted on bonuses according to a friend. Waiting to confirm but it sounds bad.
How bad lol. Haven’t commodities been in a bull market in the past year?
What happened?
Anything from Credit Suisse?
Seems to be confirmed but will follow for updates.
Citi An2 and An3 have same base? What is the rationale there? Pretty sure they have same bonus range as well. Please correct me if mistaken.
Yeah this is stupid. Surely A2 and A3 should be different - if they have same base I can already see a wave of A3s leaving lol
To go where? They'd be taking a paycut to move to the buyside, no?
Supply and demand? Aren't most MF / MM PE shops still starting associates at ~$110 range? If you're staying in banking another year (either because you struck out in buyside recruiting or your pushing for A2A), what incentive do banks have to raise their A3 base beyond $125 to, say, $150? Base already exceeds what you'd be getting on the buyside.
Plus it'd be really fucking weird to have the same base salary for third year analysts and stub year associates (bonus is a different story)
I see what you are saying. Think people just expected A2 vs A3 to have somewhat of a delta, however small that might be. Optically just looks odd to have A2 and A3s at same level. JPM is bumping to 110/125/135 for A1/A2/A3 respectively.
Any word on BoA?
Will this extend to all BB? Also, what about MM? Will Mizuho, HSBC, and other banks follow suit?
I hope so, but I doubt it
Hopefully but doubt it
any idea on what bonuses are generally like at MM balance sheet banks like Mizuho and HSBC?
Can anyone confirm if Citi also raised the base for Research?
what's London base for analyst 1?
If they follow GS/MS who are at $110k then it'll be £65-70k AN1.
60
Is this before or after this week's news? Didn't they raise A1 salary to 60 in the last pay bump?
Does anyone know if this applies to Public Finance too?
Bump... and have any of the other PubFin groups at other banks been bumped or are they all $85k?
How can JPM still pay 100k base when now MS, GS and Citi pay 110. That will have to change soon
I have been waiting for this. As soon as a non MS/GS BB raises (particularly other than JPM), the others have to follow suit. Probably won’t take long for especially BofA and JPM to react. And if that happens, the rest will have to follow suit… This got the ball rolling folks
Any inclination as to when this will be officially announced? Can’t find any news coverage on this.
Liquidity is the only news source you need.
Seriously though it's on Bloomberg
In a markets group at JPM... management told us to expect base raises at the end of the month and that they're expecting us to at least match GS/MS— so expecting 125k as a second year.
helpful, pls keep us posted on what they end up giving you. there's some threads in the ER forum also
What group?
.
LOL
Rip BofA
any bump in london?
Bump
Are interns this summer gonna get pay bumps because of these base pay raises?
^
You got 100? Or 85
100
Did Citi Capital Markets base pay go to 110 too?
the Bloomberg article said S&T got the raises as well
honestly i think citi just raised bases so the news would overshadow their shitty bonuses...
Did this extend to Canada?
Delete
What is base currently in Canada?
Incoming s&t an1 here. Anyone received anything?
Not yet
UBS please go to 110k lol
JPM A3 confirmed for 125.
What’s A1/a2
