Comps Analysis help - European Companies
I'm trying to make a comps model from scratch on this French large-cap company - The European competitors I've selected are mentioned on the company's statement and have similar business/financial profiles.
Just a bit confused on how to proceed when the stock prices of the companies are listed on US exchanges (Estee Lauder trades on NYSE) Do I convert everything into euros?
Hi Stargirl_47, just trying to help:

You could. But at the end of the day you're really comparing multiples, so I don't think the currency matters per se unless you're dividing, say, an EV in euros by an EBITDA quoted in dollars, unless I'm mistaken.
Thank you
