Throwaway for reasons.

FIG and M&M are strongest groups in Toronto.

M&M culturally is now HR monitored. The news didn't affect deal flow. FIG loves the new US deposit base from BotW.

I don't agree with the comment above about PU&I. Exact opposite really. The so called 'deal flow' is nine times out of ten with RBC, hours are right there with M&M, and what exits ?? Mgmt is investing a lot more in that group though.

ECM is solid, punching well above its weight. No notable sightings on hours either.

No insight on DIG. Great folks but haven't really hit anything crazy since blockbuster CPKC merger, suspecting lots of pitch work. 

 

You think FIG / ECM will pigeonhole me in those industries? Not sure if i wanna do IB long term but ECM seems best value for culture/wlb
