Entrepreneur to boutique IB or RE PE

I’m 22yo and currently studying finance at a ”target” school in my country. I’ve worked as a business developer at a small real estate managment firm for 2 years and bought myself in recently (40% stake). Our sales are around 300K and EBITDA has grown from 20% to 40% since I joined. The founder has asked me if I’d like to become the CEO of the firm, since I’ve basically ran the whole operational side of the business for about an year now, but I haven’t decided. Upside: 1. It’s SUPER scaleable and I could double or triple our sales in a year. 2. Looks good in my resume if I really commit to the scaling (and succeed) 3. It’s fucking FUN (hired my friend to help me and get to travel with him) Downside: 1. I’m currently studying and wouldn’t like to close any doors for IB/PE opportunities, since it’s kinda time (and metally) consuming. 2. (In addition to 1.) I’ve already started to see some decrease in my GPA (4.2/5) 3. We have one employee besides me so the CEO title might give a redflag to some recruiters. 4. Risk of failure :( I’d love to hear some opinions about different paths to boutique IB/RE PE. (Exit opportunities, valuation of ”entrepreurial-mindset”, risks etc.) Thanks in advance!

Edit: forgot to mention: I have work experience as a Market analyst intern at a plc while it was aquired by another and also I have some relevant extracurriculars!

Depends on your risk tolerance, but if you truly believe in your ability to scale the business I'd go for it, that way you have a shot at becoming truly wealthy instead of becoming an Excel monkey in IB. If things don't work out you'll have a perfect entrepreneurial story (and hopefully enough money) to get an MBA in the US which opens doors for IB.
