EVR bonuses announce in Feb so it's gonna be a while before any meaningful data points pop up.

Previous years are pretty hard to judge given the huge increase in base in the 2nd half of 2021 so not sure how meaningful it really is.

This year should be the true test of whether EVR's old reputation of being a top paying bank is fully shed. Internally, EVR sent out an email about how 3Q 2022 is EVR's 2nd best year ever (10% or so down vs last year, last year was up about 50% vs 2020) but expectations in my group are pretty low for bonuses.

Base is the following for As. Note that everything here is based on EVR titles. EVR doesn't have As0 so As1 at EVR = As0 for most of wall street.

As1: no idea but would guess $185k

As2: $200k

As3: $225k

As4: $250k

VP: believe it's $275k at all levels but could be wrong. Was $250k at all levels pre-raise

Bonus history:

As1: $50k stub on $160k base

As2: $165k bonus in $160k base

As3: ~$295k bonus on a ~$200k blended base post-increase. $25k of this bonus is deferred cash that EVR didn't previously have and I expect won't happen this coming year. Was also the first year there was a lot of variability among groups. Other groups got better bonuses than mine

As4: my expectation is $250k if I get promoted. Think that's going to be just under $200k cash, rest in stock based on the formula from last year. Based on 3Q filing, EVR comp / head is down about 18% but throwing in weak sentiment and a potential recession, expecting bonuses to be down 20-25%. Don't personally know what the As4 number was last year but assuming it was $325k excluding deferred cash, that translates to $240-260k.

One thing to note: EVR stock vesting sucks. 4 year equal vesting instead of 3 years. There's a formula for % stock comp that roughly translates to ~20% of your bonus as stock comp in your associate years and maxing at 36% of your bonus as stock

Aso bonuses were announced on Tuesday (and I know partner bonuses were announced throughout the rest of the week)
