Final Round Macquarie NY

I have a final round with Macquarie Capital in New York. Has anyone interviewed there for final rounds? It seems like you interview with only 4 senior people. Has anyone gone through it/what's the process like/what are some of the questions asked.

Thanks in advance

It's generally two 2-on-2 interviews done by senior management (SVPs and MDs). It really depends who you get but expect your typical why IB, why Mac, how would you value x, accounting questions, and some quick math/brainteasers. My final round was fairly straight forward but heard from others that it was the most technical interview they've had.

From what I remember, you ask to be placed in a certain group after you get the offer. Expect to be placed in Advisors as Funds is much smaller.

Monkeybusiness - Culture is more entrepreneurial and laid back than culture at BBs.

Bobcat - I'm not sure how to read private messages.

Ermen - Mac is a BB is Australia, maybe Asia. In the US feels like a growing boutique.

Hi,

My friend has a final round interview with Macquaire, TX. How did your final round go and what kind of questions could he expect. He has already been through 2 tech interviews.

Thanks, Guna
