Based on previous WSO threads, the Goldman Sachs Emerging Leaders Series is a program that hasn't been widely discussed in detail. However, here are some insights from the available information:

  1. Application Process:

    • You need to apply through the official Goldman Sachs page.
    • After applying, there might be a waiting period before you hear back.
  2. Program Details:

    • It's not explicitly mentioned if the program guarantees a superday interview or similar opportunities. One user asked if the program would automatically provide a superday interview, but there was no definitive answer.
  3. Follow-Up:

    • If you haven't heard back after applying, it might be similar to other GS programs where there can be a delay in communication. For instance, in the GS Undergraduate Camp, applicants received an email after their HireVue interview stating that a recruiter would contact them soon, but there was no specific timeline provided.

If you need more specific details, it might be helpful to reach out directly to Goldman Sachs or connect with past participants through networking platforms.

Hi, I am also applying this year! I am also curious about the process and really want to ask if there is an interview or not? Also, what is the possible acceptance rate of this event? (Is it the same as the virtual insights program where basically everyone gets in huh)

LSUmonkey

Different than the virtual as this event includes a weekend trip to an office so acceptance rate is much more competitive

Do you know if they will cover the trip, I'm in LA and that's not one of the offices.

Does anybody have any info if they will use HireVues or hold any interviews??? Thanks a lot in advance for any input.

Anyone get the "We have received your application and it is under review." email today? Applied a while ago so assuming they are starting to look at apps.

I think it's probs just cus the site isn't maintained fully, but you can just click home and get to the normal page

Anyone else have "profile 94% complete" and don't know how to get it to 100? I filled out every profile box but not sure what else they want.

has anyone heard back? it's been over two weeks. if we didn't hear anything, did we get rejected?

anyone else anxiously waiting for the decisions to be released. this sounds like an amazing opportunity and I’m wishing everybody the best of luck.

guys what if the results were released already and no one on the forum got in

Ok so like 10 minutes after I found out she got in(I still didn’t get an email) I logged into my portal and looked under “provide additional data” and it said RSVP for the program. Like 15 minutes after that they sent me an email. Also in my portal it says still under review.

Yes you get a superday. Return rate is very high. You have to be a retard to fuck this up if you got GS EL IB for NY

pretty selective, they fly you out for the in-person portion so not too many ppl

WM here too, but i think its universal that the portal says under review for everyone but as long as you got the email and filled out the commitment you should be fine

The branches are Asset Management, Controllers, Engineering, FICC and Equities (Sales and Trading), Global Compliance, Investment Banking, Operations, Risk, and  Wealth Management. I would imagine the top is IB, and the second place is Asset Management, Engineering, and FICC and Equities (Sales and Trading). Third is Wealth Management. Last is   Controllers,   Global Compliance,   Operations,  and Risk.

Did anyone hear back from the program after getting in at all? I didn’t for investment banking.

is goldman usually this unresponsive over this program? i thought this was a special program not a forgotten one

i attended the kickoff event and they said that there isn’t a different application process for the participants in this program. Does this mean there are no longer super days granted through this program?
