Just finished super day
How technical was it
Surprisingly not that technical. Simple accounting and test of fundamental knowledge on valuations. Heard GS is accelerating process due to attrition. Also haven’t heard back yet.
Do we know how many superdays have gone out and for what groups?
Classic and don’t want to reveal as it might expose my identity(lol) but it’s one of the top groups.

I literally applied today, so I guess not? Unsure what things look like going forward what with this last super day.

How did everyone feel about the superday today? One of the interviewers said we should hear back tomorrow

Nothing too difficult asked. Personally don't know if I did exceedingly well, but we'll see. I feel like there were a decent amount of people at the superday though so unsurprisingly it's going to be competitive.

Superday felt really solid. Heard through the grapevine that today’s NYC superday interviewed ~75 and was taking ~25 FT. Apparently they run the 3 interviews like pledge week and then they use a similar method to the NFL draft to pick up people that they like
So shittiest coverage groups get better picks?
OP here - no lol but they do like rounds where they pick the people they want most. Maybe the analogy was off… think team captain picking the best candidates one by one and cutting off the bottom two thirds

No idea tbh, still confused on how many people heard back, how many people were interviewed, and how many people are being hired for FT and if it was all group specific
Kinda crazy how few ppl have claimed to have gotten a call back, no?
Yeah if another commenter is to be believed, with 25 offers potentially being sent out and only one person so far confirming a callback, not sure who to believe
Would be interesting to know which groups are recruiting/already called

No official ding yet, but I have a feeling we've been dinged at this point if we haven't heard back.

Seems like they are waiting to see how many interns accept return offers before extending FT offers
that would explain the delay, but really puts people with exploding offers in a tight spot

Saw someone post on LinkedIn that they accepted.
Would give it MAX until early next week to try and hear back from the 8/12 SD. Assuming interns were given 2 weeks to accept and received offers on the last day, GS should know headcount by then, but calls have already been going out since last week

If you don't receive anything 3 days after Superday, you chance of getting in is really low. They don't send out a rejection email unless you contact your HCM (the one emailed you about the Superday information). IBD and AMD Superday for NY office were on Aug 17 last week.
