How soon should I hear back after non-standard interview process?

So some context: an alum from my (target) school reached out to me recently and asked me where I was in the job search process. I had networked with him last year for an internship but it didn't really lead to anything. For reference, I'm a rising senior. This guy is at a BB and is pretty high up in the chain of command.

So I proceed to reply, and we set up a time to talk. He eventually has me talk with 5-6 people (himself included) in the team (which is pretty fast growing and hiring soon from my understanding), with most of the calls happening on one day. They were all also scheduled within the span of 2-3 working days.

After the day with a big bunch of calls, should I expect to hear back soon? It's been 24 hours plus and from some of the threads on this forum it seems like it's unlikely that something will materialize.

Just looking for guidance - has something similar happened to someone? Should I throw in the towel and forget about it or wait it out over the next few days?

Thanks in advance!

Throw in the towel after 24 hours? Have some patience, the full-time recruiting cycle is pretty slow right now.

I am the real boss baby.

Just the sort of questions they were asking, they were really typical why us and why do you want to work for the team sort of questions
