IBD Summer Internships
Hi Everyone.
College: Boston University Major(s): B.A. in Economics, B.A. in Mathematics (Speciality in Statistics) Minor: Business Administration (Finance) B.A. in Economics GPA = 3.68 B.A. in Mathematics GPA = 3.60 Overall GPA: 3.40 Summer 2019 Internship: 10 week internship in Transaction Advisory at Ernst and Young.
With a good amount of networking, what are my chances for a Summer 2020 Investment Banking Internship at companies like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, J.P Morgan, Citigroup, etc?

Why is GPA low? I am in a 4/5 year and have a 3.8+ and a double major. I would say for that reason, I am not so sure.
What year are you? If this is for a sophomore year internship then yeah seems like you have a pretty competitive profile
Why as a sophomore is an overall not above a 3.7+?
Unfortunately, I did not score well in many of the elective classes like courses in humanities and writing.

Right. You may not even make the cut for some places.
GPA isn't the best but the B4 internship after sophomore year is huge and will help a ton.
