Incoming BofA Analyst-Which groups are the sweatiest?
Summer interned elsewhere and have an opportunity to switch to America’s Bank. Group is tbd. Would like to which groups are the sweatiest? Have heard that M&A and Power&Energy groups can be absolutely brutal
Following.
Second-year analyst at BofA here. Sure, M&A and Power can be sweaty. But REGL, Industrials, and FIG are definitely the sweatiest.
Energy sounds sweaty everywhere
M&A, Power, Industrials and FIG, although I would argue Industrials and FIG are only sweaty for good analysts and associates. Definitely some people that can get away with having extra capacity, but I'm sure there are people that do this in sweaty groups at other banks as well.
Roommate last summer and was in LevFin and seems like it can be the best or worst wlb depending on the debt market but still always a strong group, just extremely cyclical
What about some of the other groups at the Bank? Like FSG, EGRC, Tech, and C&R.
BofA Sponsors might have best wlb to deal flow/exit opps ratio on Wall St
Former BofA here. New York power and utilities was known to be brutal hours and culture wise
Is this part of their industrials or their natural resources group?
Natural resources group. It encompasses both power and utilities and energy
