Submitted my app today, got a hirevue an hour ago which i completed.

Obv don't wanna get into the exact questions, but mine was one behavioral and two pretty simple technicals. I'm pretty sure they have a larger set of questions they randomly pick from so it'll vary person to person.

If you're cold applying for FT you're not getting an interview…. They already have a line of candidates that have been pushed through networking

Applied recently but haven’t been able to do hirevue and won’t be able to for a few days because of a firedrill in the office right now. Will I be passed up on solely because of this?

Interesting. On the app it said other offices were open, not that I’m complaining. Wonder if those positions were filled via networking

I was just thinking the same thing. Has anyone not received a group preference form?

I received my preference survey 2 days after submitting hirevue. I would not read too much into it though - I heard it is automated but I could be wrong. Can anyone confirm it is automated?

It’s automated, but there’s still filtering.

Contrary to popular belief, not everyone gets a hirevue. I would know, I didn’t even get a hirevue last year for IBD when my resume had 0 experience.

This year I applied with my new resume (that outclasses my old ones, even the one that landed my current role) and I got my HireVues the same day.

But getting a survey might mean your resume got passed through a level of screening.

Summer Associate in IB - Gen:

Goldman

When I applied for Goldman on opening day there was no option for ib.

Don’t think there’s a way to change it now I went ahead and put down ficc and equities.

The fact they sent out most, if not all groups might mean they expect to hire more FT analysts than previous years. Afterall, the market is looking upward at the moment with inflation seemingly kicking the bucket.

Considering SDs will start in mid August, when should we expect to hear back in your opinion?

I mean the previous survey said mid august to September but the new survey seems to say august to September (no mid august mention). Hopefully that means they could do super days early august but maybe not as well

Anyone know / heard anything about who gets super days? Is there another round of screening for superdays based off your hirevue?

Anyone receive SD invites yet? Current intern at JPM not IB, heard from recruiter that some teams are performing interviews early August. Any conflicting information regarding that?

Preference listed SD to take place between mid-August and early September

Spoke with FT hire from last year. Mentioned that his timeline was mid aug, 7-14th for his super day.

I think they shifted this year given that they mentioned SDs would take place in August-September

There are super days this Friday for sure. Anybody know if m&a is doing superdays?

The process is submit application -> hirevue (which i think is somewhat screened) -> group preference survey -> superday for group based on survey

I think it’s based by location. NY first followed by the other offices like SF Chicago LA etc

Did you network at all with anyone in those groups? If they referred you you would have received an email called “You were referred for a role - Apply now!”

You should have received a group preference survey after your hirevue. There were actually two and the second one was when you ranked the groups to your choice.

Thanks, haven done my hirevue yet. I heard Tech already had their SD - does anyone know if groups have two SD’s rounds for FT?

Did you hear back? (Since you said else)

I’m guessing Monday is more realistic for offers

I'd recommend shooting your shot but most of the processes for this comes from strong networking, pretty unlikely to get in cold

Can confirm, got another group but don’t want to name since idk if there was anybody else interviewing for it

Does JPM accelerate if you have an exploding return offer? If so who do you contact

Haven't heard anything. Are the NY and SF healthcare processes on a different timeline?
