Just signed an offer for SA 2024 at a major American bank, but have been struggling to explain to my family and friends that I am not working as a bank teller. Any thoughts or tips on how I should go about trying to explain what I'll be doing in Spanish

Frankly, I don’t think there’s a better overview in this thread. The Spanish language answer below still makes it sound like commercial banking. The other answers are not serious at all.
Selling something and taking a commission is not complicated. That’s M&A for you.

I'd just go with the bank teller, bring them some logo pens once and a while. They'll figure it out pretty quickly.
