It depends from bank to bank. Since you know the grades of all your classes, see if you could know the format of your school's unofficial transcript. Make it on your own, and you are all set.

You will need the official transcript sometime around background check which is relatively far.

is official transcript guaranteed for background check for every bank or do most just require unofficial?

No, but then you don't wanna take chance especially when you have on offer in your hand.

It depends. They may just want the official one after your offer, when they run background checks. You may have paid it off by then. But on that note - bad form to have substantial outstanding payables. Eventually, it may get submitted to a credit reporting agency. Which would also turn up in a background check.

is this for FT? if yes, then yes, they will most likely ask for an official. For SA, my understanding is that it's unofficial. someone correct me if I'm wrong.

My school provides an official transcript PDF for $15. Well worth it to go ahead and purchase, if your school offers this option. Always good to have saved on your computer.

I wouldn't worry about it too much - your overall GPA is fine. I highly doubt they will make a decision based on a C+ in a calculus course - HR is just looking to confirm your GPA, that's all.

Most importantly, do not skip the resume drop! Just submit your transcript as is, any sort of deception will just hurt you in the long run. Furthermore, if you only apply online, your chances automatically diminish. You said you have made a couple of contacts - leverage them and continue to network, this plays a great role in who they choose to interview. Good luck!

I am really leaning towards just submitting the first half of my transcript...with the GPA at the top, and the most recent semester of courses.

My C+ in Calc is the worst, but I have a smattering of B's in all my Economics classes =/

Which would be the lesser of two evils? Submitting just a printscreen of my electronic transcript, or submitting it in its entirety (B-'s, C+'s included)...

It doesnt look as bad as it seems. I would just print screen, and the GPA, along with my most recent courses will happen to show up.

When they ask for unofficial electronic transcript, what do they mean exactly? Do they want us to copy and paste it into word, or should we print screen the entire thing? It would come out to be about 4-5 PDF pages if I did that.

It means a FULL listing of your courses and grades. Unofficial simply refers to the fact that you are providing it vs the school sending. It doesnt matter what the format is, but it would be good practice to format it appropriately.
