Do you know anything about culture? Or if it’s worth going there as a first year analyst?

This is inaccurate, not to mention immature. Peak is a solid tech IB boutique with significant deal flow and experienced senior bankers that take pride in mentoring junior bankers. Peak's execution is best-in-class, especially when compared to other tech boutiques. They staff full teams, led by senior bankers, on every deal.

This is about as pathetic as you can get.

Lots of deal flow. Low turnover of employees which says something. Senior bankers take pride in mentoring the junior bankers, which is pretty rare in my opinion. As a junior banker, you’re also given a lot of responsibility early on.

Comp is in line with other boutiques.

Some of the junior bankers are supposed to only do deal execution OR business development, not both. So, just make sure you understand your role before joining the firm.

I heard it's gotten much better than when they first started. However, it is a bit sus that the two other people defending Peak are clearly newly created accounts that sound pissed off about other comments
