how much networking have you guys done?

I asked someone in a networking call if there was anyone else I should talk to and they said they aim to get everyone just 1 conversation and it doesn't matter after that, did anyone else get the same response?

Bruh I’ve spoken to two and they basically said I’m “on their radar” for first round (also at wharton)

7 just seems like overkill but you’re gonna have a great answer for why pjt lol

“We expect to kick off in few week…you will hear back by end of April… if you’re no longer interested let us know by Friday… “

Yeah. It basically didn't say anything tho. idek y they sent it. Thought it was my rejection letter or smth lmao when I saw the subject header.

went to info session and they said rssg 1st rounds will be this week/next week, m&a will be later (early April).

seems to follow what the other person was saying

were u guys from non-targets by chance? if not its actually fucked that diversity hiring takes every single spot in the office, lets hope its a glitch

Nope, I'm target, and idk the others but I'm assuming they're also targets otherwise we wouldn't be complaining so hard.

I actually looked up the office on who and found this:

"networked with the group recruiting for SA 2021. The analyst i spoke to was a super cool guy and the culture seemed good. They do strategic advisory and are very well regarded. I never ended up interviewing there though as they only take 1 SA per year and have female superday to fill it up before looking at any other candidates (if every candidate takes an L which isn't likely)"

Makes sense why everyone got rejected right away, but isn't this discrimination lmao

Secondary advisory diversity offers went out late last week. Strategic advisory diversity has given out a number of offers. I believe they may have exhausted their waitlist at this point for diversity. RSSG non diversity process is ongoing with superdays late next week. Unsure about RSSG diversity offers but their first rounds were about 1.5 weeks back. Unsure about strategic advisory non diversity.

Not sure about secondaries offers. Only know one person who got an offer and was not accelerated.

By waitlist I mean they offered a certain amount of people, and pull from their waitlist as they need more people/people reject the offers.

So if I haven't been contacted about a first round for RSSG there's no chance?

100 first rounds have/will be sent out to fill the remaining 10 spots in the class I’ve heard

NY Strategic Advisory superdays went out today. They're going to be doing them next week.

Bunch of non-diversity offers for SA are already out. Some superdays left this week.

I have heard tomorrow from someone who interned there previously and had exposure to the recruiting process.

Not sure how much of a help this can be for anybody but I applied for NY Strategic Advisory a while back - never got a first round or further into the process - but just got an email saying I was rejected and not getting through to the first rounds. Maybe a sign that decisions are coming out for Superdays?

Just received an email PJT was "discussing my candidacy" and would get back to me late next week...waiting game continues

I got the same email... maybe they're trying to see how many ppl will accept from earlier rounds

Rejection emails are out for those of us who never got a superday, finally some closure lol
