Great offer, but I would maybe try and aim for something a little more prestigious. This should honestly be far and away your top priority when you recruit. Focus on S++ and S+ prestige tiers, and avoid B prestige tiers and below.

PM me for some more advice bro. I was the Co-leader of my uni’s investment banking club, so I obviously have a large amount of experience and knowledge and I’m dying to share it with people. It’s honestly my calling and gift dude.

Based on the most helpful WSO content, Rothschild is generally recognized for its strong culture and reputation, particularly in Europe and the U.S. However, there is no specific information in the dataset about Rothschild's Toronto office, including details on deals, compensation, or culture.

If you're looking for insights on Rothschild's broader operations, they are known for focusing on middle-market M&A deals in the U.S. and larger deals in restructuring (RX). The culture is often described as supportive, with a focus on self-responsibility, and they have a reputation for retaining talent across levels. Compensation tends to be competitive, aligning with market standards.

For more specific details about the Toronto office, you might consider reaching out to professionals in the region or exploring additional WSO threads.

From a friend there: team is almost exclusively mining-focused, comp is strong, and you’ll see a lot of complex, non-vanilla work (project finance, tax advisory, etc.). There’s solid cross-office/global exposure and the culture is good. Anecdotal, but consistent with what I’ve heard from others.
