Hey Y’all,

Going to be a junior this fall. Wanted to start a thread on Scotiabank for 2021 for those that may have applied and heard back from them already. has anyone received any offers or next rounds?

I did a first-round interview about 2 months back. Seems like their interviews have been put on hold for now.

have u reached out again? like any sort of confirmation from their side for the Houston office?

Anyone that got selected for an interview, do you have your team info + interview time yet? I haven't received anything yet since the panel session.

Are they starting to move forward with candidates already? Is it pretty much over if we still haven't heard anything by now?

My deadline to sign up for classes for next semester is literally tomorrow lmfao they need to hurry their asses up with this, at least let us know if we’re not being considered anymore goddamn.

Has anyone heard of maybe their classmates/peers/literally anyone else getting first rounds? I just want to know if they’ve already moved forward with the program or if they’re just being slow and haven’t gotten back to anyone yet.

BMO’s cuts say more about the state of O&G banking than of Canadian banking. The latter isn’t in better or worse shape than the rest

so is scotiabank just not doing the co-op program at all anymore or did they already hire everyone they needed? Nobody on this forum has gotten a response yet, but could there just be that there's such a small number of people who ended up getting the offer that they just happened to not post on this forum? Super confused.

Per one of my friends, I believe that Houston SA 2021 offers have been extended. My guess is that HR probably just ghosted everyone who did not get a first round, which sucks.
