Should I re-recruit?

Last summer I was an ib intern at a top boutique (one of these: Centerview, Evercore, Solomon, PJT). I enjoyed the internship, and there are solid exit opps from this firm, but I think want to try for a bulge bracket. It's difficult because I don't know if I want to give up a job at one of the top banks on the street. Obviously within the world of finance, these banks are well respected, but I feel like if I want to pursue another field in finance, the BB might have better name recognition. Please advise??

Not sure if this is just a joke about Solomon Partners being an EB, but I'll bite

Unless you are an incoming SA talking about re-recruiting for FT, you don't have any options. SA23/FT23 are long closed. If you're an SA23, FT recruiting is a shitshow and it's next to impossible that you'll land a top group at a top BB.

Sit tight for now. If you want to lateral to a BB, you can once you hit the year mark
