Sophomore Summer Internships? (2025)

Hi. I'm currently applying to a Bank of America's "Latin America Global Investment Banking Sophomore Summer Analyst Program – 2025", and it says the deadline is September 2nd. However, people here and on reddit are telling me to not bother applying as hirevues and SD's were already sent out. Is this true? If so, why would they leave the deadline as September 2nd? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!

She had also saw that I knew easier questions and moved on to harder ones after she saw that I was able to understand the easier ones. She also gave me a lot of actionable feedback at the end, such as how to approach a question I do not know and what I should say as opposed to saying "I don't know". I need to work on that and have heard that from people, so it is something I will implement.”
