Has anyone been invited for Stephen's superday? I am still eagerly awaiting an answer. I heard that they were supposed to go out today.

Last call I had with Stephens said that they were going to try to push out superday invites yesterday or today. Nobody I know has heard anything yet.

The guy told me that they were meeting to make the decisions yesterday. Not sure when the invites would go out specifically tho. I haven't heard anything.
I still haven't heard anything. The guys I talked to never gave a solid reply date. Just either late this week or early next. But, looking at last year's thread it seems they make calls starting Saturday and ending Wednesday.
Had my third interview yesterday - still waiting to hear back.
Heard that they were meeting this week internally. Thinking within the next 4-5 days they should extend invites.
School specific? Interviews are still being conducted at some universities.
Super Saturday is next week. So everything has to be finishing up here soon.

I would guess that more are coming, I received a phone call from one of the guys that I interviewed with.

Anyone know how many are going and how many spots are available? Especially for places like Boston and NY?
I was told they take 7-8 analysts in LR, 4-5 ATL, 3-4 NYC, 4 Dallas... for the incoming analyst class.
Did they fly you guys down on their private jet? I didn't work at Stephens, but I did make it to the superday several years ago, and the private jet together with the hotel that Warren owns was amazing.

They still do this, but unfortunately not for all of the candidates. I interviewed there a few years ago and had to fly commercial. I they typically make stops in Nashville, Atlanta, and I believe NY and Boston.
They actually made some candidates fly commercial when I was there too. The private jet made stops in NY, Philly, Raleigh, and then Little Rock.
Till when will they finalize all the candidates ?

As someone who has gone through the process two years ago, one advice for future superday candidates is enjoy it as much as you can, the nice hotel rooms, private jets, steaks and raspberry cheesecakes.
PS: This is a company that TRULY cares about their candidates and so be confident and have a good time. Even if you got rejected after the Superday, they may call you a couple months later for vacancies if you performed well enough.

This is how i remember it as well. The smaller satellites (Boston, SF, etc.) take 0-2 depending on the year. There are typically candidates that are specifically there for those offices that have connections to the area (either school or hometown)

I went back and read a similar discussion for the 2017 Analyst class at Stephens. After reading all of the comments, sounds like a few might have received an offer this weekend and the remaining offers will be distributed throughout this week with Friday being the informal date for all candidates to have been notified. Looks like everyone will have an anxious week ahead. Good luck everyone!
Looks pretty grim for those of us yet to hear, I've spoken to a couple people who got their offers already. I'd assume the rest of us are probably SOL but who knows

I know of one for the LR office as well as 1 for ATL so far. I haven't heard anything back yet.
Tough sledding man, it was a great experience for everybody so inevitably some of us were going to end up disappointed

I wasn't invited to superday but I have spoken with 3 who have received and accepted the offers.
2 in LR and 1 in Dallas.
There was an initial offering and then one of them received a call substantially later in the process.
Not sure where they were in the process. I think first offers had till Monday to decide.

Interviewed first round a while ago and felt pretty good - no calls yet for super day. Anyone gotten a call yet?
I interviewed with them a few weeks ago. They told me to expect to hear back the week of Oct. 6
Interviewed with them over the phone in August with a VP (he was in charge or recruiting or very involved with recruiting), went well. Told me the superday would be Oct. 11 and to expect a more technical interview before that. Put me through to an analyst for another interview and I talked to him a few days later, no real technicals. Sent an updated resume a few weeks ago and didn't hear anything back.
I have a superday next Saturday anyway so I don't know what I would do if I get invited the week of Oct. 6 for an Oct. 11 superday.

I interviewed with them on-campus on 10/1. They said they were aiming to get invites out to that by Friday 10/3, but no one I know has heard anything so maybe they are delayed

Stephens gives out invitations without consideration to office location. You are a generalist and I believe that they assign offices once your finalrounds are finished.
I've heard a few no's from my school, but I've not received a call one way or the other. Interesting.
Is the super day the still 11th?
It will be from 10-11 of october.
Is it a possibility that I'm wait listed?
I am highly skeptical that they would waitlist people for final rounds. They are flying ~50 people to hire ~22-25 analysts so I would think that they have enough room for waitlisting people after superday.

I talked to an analyst at a bar today in Dallas, he said we would hear back sometime next week.

If you haven't heard back then you are likely not invited. They have been making traveling arrangements yesterday and today.
