Can’t really compare the groups imo, but they are very close in quality (not like PJT where RSSG is light years ahead of their m&a practice, no diss to m&a RSSG is just unbelievable). That being said, EVR rx is a phenomenal group, top 2/3 rx on the street.

In terms of exits yes. M&A has gotten ridiculously bloated in the last few years it’s incredibly difficult to stand out to the HHs

In no particular order, solving largely for historical exits:

Evercore: Tech, Coms, Industrials, RX

Moelis: RX, Healthcare Services, Media (LA)

Lazard: HC, Industrials, RX

PWP: HC, RX

In reality, any group at these banks will pretty much get you the same looks. Also, given that I work at one of these banks and have close friends at the others, I can tell you that people are solving for wildly different things, and will end up in different groups as a result. Self selection is also a big factor- I left off several top groups just because people tend to use them to build a career in banking rather than exiting, which doesn’t build an exit culture (underrated in my opinion if that is your goal).
