UBS LA has sunk. Unfortunately everyone went over to Santander. Last class of CS analyst exited well but now the ship is broken beyond repair. Few seniors from NY said they now work with LA... much different now than it was pre merger. Sad to see the original CS LA office go. Was a great group of people and headcount
UBS LA its like the india team for NY. Just will be onshored staffings NY doesn't want. Not sure why the office exists. Probably a rainmaker 20 years ago who isnt with us anymore wanted to live in LA.
Moelis duh
Office has the highest revenue per capita YTD. The old UBS LA closed in ~2008 following the GFC and Moelis' departure. The new office is ex-CSLA, which also had the highest revenue per capita out of CS' offices.
