When is it too late? (NOT CLICKBAIT)

Superday 2.5 weeks ago.

No word from HR, but got really positive feedback from MD and people I interviewed with.

I haven't received any calls or emails after that point, but I always see these comments on the Superday forums about receiving calls the same day or same week:

[INSERT CRINGE]

"Call from HR 2 hours after Superday, got an offer"

"HR daddy called me 2 seconds after my Superday, I will officially be joining Morgan Stanley fuck yeah!"

"When do I hear back???"
"It's been 2 days is it too late :("

"What should I email HR to follow up about my superday?"

"BUMP waiting for call from HR as well"

"Good luck boysss, call from HR 1 hour after the superday and got an offer."

When is it too late? If my Superday was 2.5 weeks ago, have I been

chopped?

PS: I totally get that each bank gets back to candidates differently.

hahaha love the presentation. even though 2.5 weeks seems like a lot, banks have to deal with a heap of candidates and rn is def a busy time. I wouldn't trip about it but would still recommend recruiting at other shops while staying patient

No harm in shooting the interviewer/recruiter a follow-up email. It'll get you an update on where you stand, and sometimes your persistence could be what pushes the firm to extend the offer if the bank is on the fence.

Second this. It was 4 days after my superday and i lost all hope, then emailed HR to see where they were at and got a call literally 2 mins after sending the email with the offer. HR was just sitting on it waiting lol
