Hi Fellow Monkeys,
I am trying to build up a list of resources for everyone on Wall Street Oasis to share. As I look at the forum, there are a lot of resources on getting a job in Finance. I believe that everyone is attracted to Finance, other than having a genuine interest in the market, is to obtain happiness. To most of us, we have somewhat of a notion that money can solve majority of our problems.
To me, to be happy, requires a holistic approach at looking at every part of life and slowly improving all areas: wealth, career (Wall Street Oasis is in this area), health, spiritual (hobby) and relationship (dating, family). It took me a year to look into all types of books and websites and I have complied this list so far.
I would love to hear it from my fellow Monkeys, regarding resources (books or websites) that target these areas of life: wealth, career, health, spiritual, relationship. I will be publishing the new list once I sort and collect the resources that you guys have suggested. Thanks in advance.

I can't really pin down on something so I just put spiritual. It can mean lifestyle, interesting reads online, fashion, philosophy, psychology, and so forth. Great idea. I will further break it down in my new list. Thanks for your input.

I just checked out marcandangel.com and the bookboon link... Hundreds of free business books in PDF form.
I was trying to figure out how they were "free" and found almost all are made by the same publisher and they all have several 1 page advertisements in them. I'm fine with that.. pretty big book list.

The Prince is a great book. One of my mentors suggested this book: "The Origins of Political Order: From Prehuman Times to the French Revolution" by Francis Fukuyama. Have you read this before?

Education: gmatclub.com seeing as there are lots of threads asking about gmat and admission stuff. The BEST part of gmatclub is the forums on the specific schools and the application tracker portions. You can really get a feel of who is applying and where your stats stand.
Have you heard of David DeAngelo at doubleyourdating.com/DavidDeAngelo? I followed his program for awhile. He focuses on personal development rather than just teaching guys pick up lines. I highly recommend him.

Oh god, Ask Men's dating advice? Please no. Five Love Languages is great, though.
I'd recommend any sort of behavioral economics/psychology books (Spent comes to mind) that talk about consumer behavior, so you can be more conscious of the constant messaging around you to spend spend spend.
And, though perhaps it doesn't fit into the prescribed categories, I think reading Vonnegut is essential for personal development...learning how to laugh at the bullshit in/of life is essential. And since someone mentioned poetry, I highly recommend any T.S. Eliot (especially the Wasteland and Rhapsody on a Windy Night).
