This is conjecture, but those who end up getting offers from bx pe are not waiting for the online app to open. Typical backgrounds are summer internship at elite buyside institutions, or top banking groups who then leverage those offers into bx FT. Since all of the recruiting for SA positions has been pushed up, I'd imagine the kids getting the offers at a place like this went through accelerated processes at other top institutions, received offers, and leveraged. From my MF internship experience, and knowing kids who have interviewed for the specific role you are referring to, most of them were very proactive.

 

Has anyone received a September superday invite for BREP yet? In case anyone did the August one, how long in advance do they usually reach out?

 

I got an email two weeks ago saying they would get back to me about next steps by Sept 1, but they didnt... anybody else get the same thing with response or no response?
