Did anyone get an email to do BCGs pymetrics and video Qs? I heard they’re due Apr 9, but can’t figure out where to do them, or if it’s invite only coming up.

Last year I received an email with a link to complete the pymetrics test. I'd assume the same for this year.
I thought the pymetric profile was valid for more than a year ?
Got an email about pymetrics and video Qs due on Aptil 8th.
Are the video Q's replacing the phone interview or will there be a separate phone interview after this? The website makes it seems like the "video interview" is all it will be.
This is what I'm assuming but I have no sources to back me up
I think that's it. On their application website in the FAQ section, they have mentioned that the resume, online application, and this video interview is the selection criteria.

I didn’t get an email, just status closed on Jobvite link. Guess that means it’s a reject
I think the closed status on the jobvite board is in reference to the fact that the position is no longer taking applications.
Has anyone gotten a Bridge to BCG email? It's been almost a whole day since the deadline and I wasn't sure if I was missing something.
Not yet. The website says we should expect the email 1-2 days after the deadline.

I finished the game and was able to view my traits, but could not find the career match. I only have the traits and applications tabs on Pymetrics. Were you able to view it immediately after finishing?

99% on a career after psychometrics. Anyone else get a high percentage (>95%) for some career?
Haha psychometrics. I dont know how I feel about that test either- it seemed sketchy at times. I got a 94% on consulting so yaay I guess .. but I also had other super high percentage on other stuff too.
I got 96% for consulting!! But I screwed up my one-way interview so I doubt I’ll be hearing back from BCG. Keeping my fingers crossed for McKinsey.
I'm sure it went better than you thought it did! I hate video interviews so much... they make everything you are saying seem so much more awkward
Me too. Felt really confident going in, but flubbed my last 2 questions. In retrospect I wish I hid my screen so I wasn't staring at myself the whole time.
I got a low consulting score (around 50%) but thought the interview went well. Maybe we can piece together the weight BCG puts on each section of the app based upon our acceptance rates haha.
99% for VC was the highest. 98 PE, 98 general management, 86 consultancy... I think the pymetrics fairly sketchy as well.

I think it'd be helpful to have two separate posts, one for the MBB programs and one for the Putnam and Clarion programs. Lumping 5 programs together gets a bit confusing

I got an Insight interview invite (though honestly I don't think I did very well in the case portion... happy to report back when I find out the results). Here are some quick stats: -B.S. from a Top 10 undergrad (GPA 3.7/4.0); -Current science PhD student at a Top 10 university;
-GRE: 168Q, 163V, 4.5W; -4 publications as co-author, though no first-author papers yet -Leadership role in 2 organizations/clubs during grad school
For those who're interested in applying in the future, my suggestion is to put as many numbers on your resume as possible. Quantify everything, even extracurricular activities.

My application for Insight got rejected with no invitation for an interview later either! :( they did invite me to attend a local 3 hour workshop instead.

Congrats on your successful applications. Care to share some keys to standing out?
I think I worked pretty hard on streamlining my resume. Talked to a lot of friends and consultants to get feedback. Try to keep the format simple and use action verbs such as " designed", "implemented", " demonstrated". Don't be shy to brag out. My school was from India and less known, so I used metrics like how many people get in vs apply. Also, I tried to keep a healthy balance between professional and extra-curricular in my resume. I didn't get the final offer after interview, so I am trying to refine my interview skills. But these are my two cents. Good luck!
did you only do the ClearView case online to practice? If so, can you share some tips on which ones you did?
@jubilee" Literally 15m before the case, I had read online somewhere they did essentially the practice one online. Market size + segmentation one on their website about diabetes. Also am about 5 cases into my general case prep. Did a ton of research on consulting + have a solid amount of PhD->consulting friends I talked to a lot to get 'insights' into the process

99% consulting via pymetrics, that was my #1. Next in business were 75%, and 50%...
Rejected by Insight ! no Interview ! I did pymetrics and one way interviews for BCG but I did not get a % matching score ...

Rejected from C2C also. They invited me to apply in July for a full time position - but its unclear whether they are just being polite or if it means something more. Did you get a similar email?

Anyone list the NY office as their first choice for B2B? Are your chances really determined by which office you prefer?
i listed NY for bridge. no idea what implications that has for chances.
The office selection for B2B shouldn't matter because if accepted, you'll likely be placed in the closest office (if you're not local they'd have to cover your expenses so I'm sure this comes into play) according to the recruiter I talked to.
For full time, I heard some offices have more positions so might be strategic to select those but they'd likely place you in your top 2 choices if they want you so it should really be based on where you're actually willing to live.
Offered a second round interview for C2C. Let me know if anyone else did as well and is interested in getting a practice or two in before their interview.

That would likely mean that you passed the first screening. I attended the one in Atlanta; very helpful and I think they do evaluate you during the workshop so be your best self.
