Just FYI, BCG's Bridge program has four locations, each with a different time frame for the summer workshop. It would be really helpful if people would specify which office they applied to.

Got turned down for the insight program but got invited to participate in the first part of our 2018 full-time associate (or MD Fellowship) interview process to receive an early decision.

does everyone get this email or is it selective? I'm a little confused about the offer to apply early... It seems like taking the PST is guaranteed and otherwise you would have to make it past the resume screen? Seems odd to do this part early but then still be in the fall interview pool, or maybe I'm just confused

they said no preparation required, so it's probably either something simple, or something not in a case interview format thus not "prepare-able" for
Turned down for McKinsey Insight Healthcare with the following email this morning: "Due to the graduation date, degree, current location or program you have listed in your application, we are not able to consider you for our programs this year."

Just wrote to BCG Atlanta recruiter and she told me that the reviewing process for Bridge is still underway and decisions have not been communicated yet.
yep, can confirm this as well. Atlanta is lumped together with California/west coast as well as Texas/etc area campuses, so it might take a while to arrange them.
Prospective BCG Bridgers: Based on similar threads from past years, it looks like we can expect to start hearing back toward the end of this week.

For Engineering, the interviews are scheduled this week and next. And I think some of the Healthcare interviews are happening this week too

I got an invitation to interview with Insight Asia-Pacific at 3 pm last Friday. I am scheduling an interview, which should be within this week. . -My friend got a rejection email from Insight program yesterday morning (Monday), however, McK invited him to the first round interview for the full-time position. (*heavy breathing with jealousy)

I'm under the impression that all Insight program finalists and the actual participants are automatically invited for FT interviews this fall. So if you're interviewing for Asia-Pacific, that counts you as a finalist. I got this from the FAQ on the McK insight page: "Program finalists and participants will automatically be invited to first-round interviews."
You are right. I saw that on the website. So this year finalists and participants can skip the PST and go straight to first round?
I got rejected from Insight Healthcare, but they offered an early test if I apply for a full time by May 10.
I got rejected from Insight but they didn't offer me an early interview like others have reported here. How fucked am I?

Hi all. Any thoughts on how to prepare for the "business scenario"part of the Asia Pacific Insight interview? The email said no advance prep needed, but I'm brand new to consulting, so I might be entirely blindsided if I don't do some basic prep!

I just interviewed with McKinsey insights this morning and received an invitation from BCG New York office this afternoon. McKinsey is a phone interview, it seems like BCG is video interview next week.
how was the fit part of the interview? were you given a real case or more like a brainstorming exercise? i have mine next week.
For me, it was weird.... Only fit question, no case.

Just had a Bridge to BCG South video interview with a Principal. 15min for 4-5 fit questions, 3min for me to ask a couple of questions. Very friendly and informal. It was tougher than I expected over a phone screen!

Just a data point. Applied for all MBB's summer workshops for advanced degree candidates.
MCK Asia Pacific: phone interview invite on 4/21. phone interview on 4/26 with a manager. It was very friendly and smooth. Business scenario question is pretty random. One suggestion is to listen to the person carefully without doing note because you will be missing sth while doing note. That's my personal experience.
BCG Dallas: No response so far. Was very interested in BCG because they actually came to campus for info session. Felt easy to be connected with them.
Bain: Just submitted on 4/21.

Just got invited to Bridge2BCG Boston yesterday (Friday 4/28) at 11 am. Scheduled for a phone interview next week.
Is it possible to not to as well in the case portion of a McK Insight interview, do well on the case portion and still get selected? The case part of the interview really threw me off

"While we were extremely impressed with the quality of the applicant pool, unfortunately we have a very limited number of openings and are unable to invite every candidate to participate. I think you should hear from them by next Monday (May 15th) about Bridge because they ask those who got accepted to register for the event by tomorrow (May 12th). So, it is possible that you are still on the waiting list.
Anyone doing anything to prepare for the programs they were invited to? Case practice, for instance? Not sure what is expected.

Yes, the B2B attendee is guaranteed a 1st round interview for the FT, according to my interviewer.

How much backfire during full-time recruitment do you think I can expect from BCG for picking Bain's AIC invite over B2B?
Congrats on getting both :) Maybe you can ask BCG or Bain to accommodate you to a different Bridge or AIC? Bridge is a LOT of fun so it'll be tough to miss out on that in my opinion.
Are people preparing for these programs? Like practicing cases for Bridge2BCG? Also, does anyone know when we should apply for a FT position after that? I'm probably graduating in April 2018.
