One of the technicals i got was like:
Out of the valuation methods which would yield the lowest # generally? -> most of the time LBO -> Why?/What component makes it that way?
I am a lateral candidate and will be speaking with an MD for 45 minutes. Could we please share some tips what to prepare? I assume it will be mostly fit but I would love to hear more from those who have lateralled or have heard from friends who did. Thanks!
Half fit & half markets. Like all industry specific banks, you need to demonstrate passion and genuine interest in the field. Even for your own benefit, the way banking becomes manageable is if you actually enjoy what you do. I've been in jobs where 40 hours felt like 80 and jobs where 60 felt like 30. Get smart on fintech and find a vertical you think is sick and can speak intelligently too.
