IB in small home country/market vs. S&T in financial hub
I interned in IBD at a BB in a small country/ market last summer, and was offered a FT analyst position starting next year. Most of the BBs are present in the market here, but are quite small (12-20 people max), quite top heavy, and limited exit ops because there's no real buy side industry.
I have just been offered a S&T overseas position in a much larger, competitive market, and am contemplating whether its better for my career to make the move (even though I prefer banking), because of the networking and other opportunities.
Thoughts? Any advice or experiences would be appreciated!
