VP introducing me to team- need advice!!!

After I reached out to a IBD VP to catch up, she said to come by and she'll introduce me to her team. She also said that I should know my shit well. She's in an industry group that has their own recruiting pipeline, and I'm recruiting for SA2019 right now.

Need advice on how this will all go down. Do I just shake their hands and catch up with the VP, or will I be chatting with her team members. Would I be the one asking questions or will they be testing my sector knowledge? What types of questions would I ask in this type of situation? Obviously I'm gonna research the group she covers, but other than that not sure how I should prepare for this.

Also, would I need to wear a blazer when going to their office even if it's 90 degrees out, or is a white dress shirt and slacks fine too?

Thanks

the conversation happened this morning, and I'm meeting her team members tomorrow...

time frame is very very slim, so would love advice on what to focus on.

when she said know your shit, she was referring to sector knowledge by the way, so not sure if should be expecting any advanced technicals. she's also super chill/friendly/lively, so don't think it'll be a very formal interview.

thoughts??

I'd spend 3-5 hours this evening reviewing anything deal-related within their industry in addition to hammering the basics of DCF/LBO modelling.

Update us tomorrow evening. You'll do well.

also any advice on how to come off as personable and conversational tomorrow? don't want to sound scripted especially since it's not that formal but also want to be very prepared

Be yourself. Try to smile a bit.
